Wedding madness...
I know I have a little over 13 months to prepare, but I’m already feeling the stress of it all.
All the questions…Have you picked a date yet? Where are you having it? Have you found a dress yet? Who is going to be in your wedding party? What are your colors…Seriously people, I’m still in shock that I’m engaged. I’ve had little time to think of anything past...

My world stopped for a few minutes last night....
As I read this note that was attached to Winston’s collar:The note reads, “Mommy- Josh has something he wants to ask you that he has wanted to ask for a really long time. I had to make sure he was right for you first. So with my permission and a few others, I told him it was ok ~ Winston”
And looked up to see the love of my life down on one knee, holding this ring and asking...
He left me a card this morning...
just to let me know he was thinking about me today.
It’s the little things in life! So thankful to be loved by such a wonderful man.

Healthy eating....
is what I have been doing for almost a month now. Nothing drastic or psycho. Just incorporating a lot more protein, fruits and vegetables in my diet. I have cut out beer during the week and soda.
Last night, I thought I would treat myself for all of the hard work I have been doing. I decided to have 2 beers and cheese fries….boy oh boy! how quickly my body got used to healthy eating and...

Snow day!
We received a good bit of snow Christmas night through Sunday…we had 8 inches or more at my house in Raleigh. It was glorious…more pics to come.

There was a lot to be thankful for this Christmas. I must say, it was by far, one of the best Christmas’ I can remember.
Aside from all the lovely gifts I received, the laughs and quality family time are what I will cherish the most about this Christmas.
I has been an amazing year for Josh’s family. His father is a recovering alcoholic..going on 2 years now. This Christmas his family...

A little Christmas cheer for you!
Stickin' it to the man...
It has been hectic at work lately…layoffs etc.
I have been moved to another project within the company despite my repeated protests.
Today, I took my lunch break and it was over an hour. We only get 30 minutes. I went shopping and bought more Christmas Decor and then got my lunch, came back, and wasted another 30 minutes eating it.
Take that!
I'm so excited!!
